POSTING 4: THE TENGKU TEMENGGONG OF KELANTAN’S COMMITMENT IN ‘HELPING’ THE POORS
After revealing something which, to some rakyat, is very shocking about him in yesterday’s posting, today, which happens to be a Sunday, we at the Kelantan Insider feel a bit overwhelmed by this sudden urge to write something which is really ‘positive’ about, and hence do some justice to, our Tengku Temenggong of Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra.
Well, to be frank, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra is neither that bad nor that greedy as many of the rakyat think. He does, in fact, care about the fate of unfortunate ones. As its proof, we produce here a few letters written by him showing how dedicated he is in assisting the Kelantan State Government ‘helping’ the poors. If you think we are kidding, you just read those letters and find for yourself the sign of this philantrophic side of him in them: From the phrase “demi kepentingan seluruh rakyat miskin dalam negeri Kelantan” to the phrase “melibatkan kepentingan rakyat miskin” and to the phrase “untuk memanfaat rakyat miskin negeri Kelantan”.
If you are more observant, you can as well notice that, in order to convince those state government agencies of this noble intention of his, there can also be found everywhere in those letters the phrases indicative of both the blessing and the support that Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra has from his daddy: From “permohonan (syarikat saya) di atas telah pun mendapat ampuni perkenan daripada Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Al-Sultan…” to “saya dengan restu Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Al-Sultan…” and to “cadangan ini..telah mendapat ampuni perkenan (Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Al-Sultan Kelantan)…”.
With the benevolent Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra always being around to help, there is little wonder that the number of the poors in Kelantan is greatly decreasing and that the balding friends of ours, like Dr Nazmi Ghazali Azmi, are slowly getting their hairs back!
